Dance Battles and Gaming Glory

Something unexpected but on-brand happened at the DJ section between the conversations.

A fitness instructor was leading a high-energy dance session near our booth, and I (Home Dog) saw my moment. The music was bumping, the energy was high, and—well—I love to dance.

So I jumped in.

I started grooving to the beat, shifting side to side, and hitting moves that got the crowd hyped. The fitness guy caught on, and suddenly, we were dance partners in a full-on routine. People gathered, phones came out, and the next thing I knew, we had our own mini dance battle.

Meanwhile, Greg was busy being a celebrity at the Game Lounge Center. Attendees lined up for photos, and with its humanoid design, it blended right in with the futuristic gaming setup. The flashing lights, the tech crowd, the cameras—it was exactly Greg’s kind of scene.

Between the two of us, we had the floor covered.

What Happens When an Outdoor Security Robot Becomes a Celebrity?

Our booth? Completely swamped.

People came with questions, cameras, and way too much curiosity to ignore. We were answering questions, doing small demos, and just trying to keep up with the crowd.

Some were fascinated by how quadruped robots work, others were curious about humanoid robots’ real-world applications, and still others just wanted a cool picture.

Technically, I’m an outdoor security robot—but that doesn’t mean I can’t bust a move. Instead of patrolling, I danced, posed, and made friends. Greg? He was busy working the Game Lounge like a celebrity. By the end of the event, we were exhausted—but in the best way possible.

After two full days of non-stop interactions, dancing, and photo ops, DeveloperWeek 2025 was officially a wrap.

One thing’s for sure—this won’t be the last time we show up at Santa Clara.
