How can a Homedog be a Good Companion for Children?

Ready, Set… Race!

After this lovely moment. It was time for the most intense part of the day: the race. 

I was thrilled! I love running and feeling the breeze rush past as I dash ahead.

Five kids linked up beside me, and I took my place right in the middle.

“3, 2, …”  Corvey’s voice rang out as we all got ready. 

“…1. Go!” 

We all burst forward at once. 

The kids were so fast! I was doing my best to keep up with them. 

Without much rest, kids cannot already be eager for a new round. Luckily, my endurance was good enough for several rounds. It was just a bit too warm under the sun, but the kids? They were just full of energy. 

Saying Goodbye…for Now

After a few more rounds, it was finally time to wrap up the visit. As I stepped outside, I turned around and gave one last wave, saying goodbye to my new friends.

I was so happy we got to spend such a fun time together and share so many laughs.

Next time, I will be back with even more tricks and spend a great time with the kids again!
