Toborlife AI Brings Unitree G1 to ZaiGeZaiGu’s Chinese New Year Celebration

This past Lunar New Year, Toborlife AI had the pleasure of joining ZaiGeZaiGu’s Chinese New Year celebration through our Robot Rental Program, bringing the Unitree G1 humanoid robot to the stage for a truly unforgettable performance.

With months of planning, Toborlife AI collaborated with the ZaiGeZaiGu team to make this happen. From the moment G1 arrived, it was clear this would be no ordinary appearance. Instead of simply greeting guests or roaming the stage, G1 stepped into a starring role, becoming an actor in the day’s skits and cultural programs.

A Robot Takes the Stage

Throughout the celebration, our Unitree G1 appeared in three separate programs. In one of the performances, G1 acted as the skit’s announcer, standing confidently on stage and interacting alongside fellow performers. Watching a humanoid robot seamlessly participate in a live cultural production was both surprising and exciting for the audience.

The crowd responded with laughter, cheers, and plenty of phones raised to capture the moment.

Later in the program, G1 returned to the spotlight for a special dance performance. With smooth movements and expressive gestures, the humanoid robot brought a futuristic twist to a traditional celebration. The blend of advanced robotics and cultural festivity created a unique atmosphere — one that perfectly reflected the spirit of innovation and community.

“Gong Xi Gong Xi!”

One of the most heartwarming moments of the evening came when G1 waved to the audience and wished everyone a joyful New Year with a cheerful “Gong Xi Gong Xi!” The crowd erupted in applause as the robot greeted attendees with festive enthusiasm.

At the close of the event, G1 walked back onto the stage alongside the performers to give a final group greeting. Seeing a humanoid robot standing shoulder to shoulder with actors during the curtain call symbolized exactly what we love about these rental experiences: technology and people coming together in celebration.
